What are the API rate limits?

The Uniform API has two types of rate limits:

  • 150 requests per 10-second window per project

  • 300 requests per 10-second window per IP address

Important notes:

  • These limits are only enforced for cache misses

  • If you exceed these limits, you may receive 429 (Too Many Requests) status codes

  • If you exceed these limits you may receive 504 errors in Uniform Dashboard as rate limiting would cause longer response times that might exceed 25 seconds threshold in Uniform Dashboard
